Me and my HUGO(Roger), we decide to compile our memories through our website, to write every little thing that happen in our life.. to share with our closest friends and families…

Why Properdragon? He was born in year of the dragon, as very shy, proper, gentleman. While I born in year of the dog with the opposite characteristics .I am, crazy, hyperactive, laughing, and nonsense-talking, but we clicked,  and finally….we are married!!!  The long distance relationship has made us suffer for almost 2 years… We knew each other from internet since April 2007. It so happened that he is working in Malaysia on and off and that was how our date and relation started.

I only can meet him in person once a month or every two months a time… We meet online almost every day! Time differences make me stay up late, wait for him come home from work, I officially become zombie!!!  Our dated mostly about food! He likes Malaysian food a lot, every time before he reach Malaysia, he would said, “Dear I want to eat roti canai, naan, nasik lemak, char kway teow, rakuzen, pancake, so on… He loves food. I had to note down where to bring him for food. Our dates beside eating still eating and eating. He not get used to Malaysian joke before, because he is “proper”… but as time goes by, he started to participate when I was talking rubbish and nonsense. He start to said, ” Ya meh?”, “No la”, “sure or not”, “bangsai”(make big business), “makan”, “minum”, “jitzitzam jitzitzam” “chin chai” , and a lot of sound effects too… That will never happen in their language. The cultural differences create a lot of interesting moment in our life.
To memorise any special moment of us, I drew a storybook, illustrations about our little jokes, and fun time. It is listed as his favourite book ever. I will continue until the end of our life…

Our dating go along 1 and half year, we finally decide to marry, so we can be together of the rest of the time. My family got crazy when they know about this news… especially my parents.  They worried about can’t see me again and they worried about differences of culture will make us fight, they worried about I will be lonely and no friends… So much to worry about as parents… But there is the only way we can spend our time together…  It took so long time to convince my parents to accept our decision. I brought Roger home, introduce to them, and whenever Roger visits, he will have dinner with my family. Then only my parents start to accept our relation… I met up his parents one week before my wedding. His parents are very happy that we were getting married. They accept who I am, and my characteristic too.  The status of us now is waiting for the visa, and I will be moving to Norway.  To prepare to share our story, we have started our own website, to keep in touch with all the friends and family.
